Maria Teresa, originally from Peru, wanted to create a boutique to share her country's culture.

In 1994, she opened her shop in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert (292 Avenue Georges-Henri, 1200 Brussels) where she offered alpaca sweaters, scarves, and other items, as well as small ceramic objects made in Peru.

In 2000, to be closer to the center of Brussels, she opened a second shop at 27-29 Rue de la Violette, 1000 Brussels. Over time, handcrafted items from other countries have been added to her collection, and art exhibitions are organized in Brussels.
